0.6.1.0 for WHS v1 Won't Start

Hello,

Thank you for Serviio. I have been using 0.5.2 without issue. I unistalled the add-in on my laptop and uninstalled the Serviio application from my Media Smart Server through remote desktop.

Then I installed the new Add-in. But service is stopped when I hit the console button I get ...wait...

I have updated Java. Restarted Media Smart server. Uninstalled and reinstalled the add in.

When I try to start the Serviio console through remote desktop I get "Cannot connect to Serviio server, it does not seem to be running. Exiting..."

Here is the last section of the log file:

Hmm, I missed the notification for this. Sorry. I'm almost assuming that you got this resolved since it's been so long, but just to give you my two-cents on this, I had a similar issue when I did an uninstall of the 0.5.2 application first and then an install of 0.6.1 (rather than an "upgrade"). Seems like the Serviio installer isn't 100% perfect. For me, all I had to do was reinstall Serviio 0.6.1 (without uninstalling--a repair?) and it worked fine. Give it a shot if you haven't already gotten it working. The add-in should be fine once you get Serviio itself up and running.

I'm running into the same thing I think.

I can't figure out how to install without uninstalling.

Only option in the settings for me is uninstall.

Suggestions?

Maybe it's Java

I can't update to Java 7 (otherwise Serviio doesn't work), I have to stay with Java 6. 31

So how do I roll back Java on WHS to 6.31?

I really miss Serviio
