Created Issue: Samsung TV transcode issue [5]

Cant play wtv files, have tried different profiles for Samsung TV. Have a Samsung Smart TV.
Seems that this issue have been corrected in 0.6.2.0, when will it be release for whs 2011?

Attempting to change the Transcode settings (disable it) receive an error:

System.NullReferenceException: Object instance not set to an instance of an object at Serviio.WHS.AdvancedTabControl.buttonSaveTranscoding_Click(Object Sender, EventArgs e)
Comments: Well... I uninstalled / reinstalled it. I had disabled Transcoding through the regular Serviio Console client; now, when I tried to enable it, still had an error when I tried to save. However, I noticed no value shown for Number of CPUs to use. I selected 2 from the drop down and was now able to save it successfully. No need to leave this open. Thanks!

Comments: That's really strange and I'm unable to reproduce it so far. Error when you click the checkbox or error when you save? Does it continue to happen after you close and restart the console?

The add-in cannot be installed ,the add-in package cannot be downloaded. ensure that your netowrk connection is working correctly, and then try again.i have been an nothing...any ideas. please.
Comments: hey thanks for the reply but i got it work looks like it had something to due with my system i reinstalled whs2011 and now everything works perfect...

Comments: That's not an error I've seen before. Can you describe the steps that you took prior to receiving the error. The add-in installer shouldn't have to "download" anything, so I'm confused. Now, once the add-in is installed, you will then be asked to download another package directly from the Serviio folks, but this particular error seems a bit odd.

downloaded whs 2011 installer and it won't allow install. first of all i get a warning saying :- the publisher of this add-in cannot be verified.. you can install the add-in but it might cause problems with your server and the computers on your network . install add-ins only from publishers you trust. then when i click install anyway i get the following error. :- the add-in cannot be installed because it is not packaged correctly, contact the publisher of the add-in to resolve the problem. does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how i can resolve the issue. i already have serviio v 0.6.1 running on my server does the add-in add anything that this version doesn't have
Comments: The warning is expected, as the installer is not "signed" (this costs $$$ that I don't really have). The second error, however, is not expected. Would you mind looking on your PC (or on your server if you did this via remote desktop) in the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Server\Logs There should be a "InstallAddin.log" file (NOT the "RunTask-..." file). If you would, please attach that file so that I can try and diagnose the installation error. As to the second part of your question, no, there isn't much that the add-in offers except for control of Serviio via the Dashboard. If you're okay controlling it via Remote Desktop using Serviio's java-based console, then this version adds little beyond a couple of minor tweaks like allowing the service itself to be stopped and started (something you have to use administrative tools to do otherwise).

cant download package says make sure your connect to your network,but i am not sure what too do

Occasionally, it is necessary to edit the log4j.xml file located in the config subdirectory to, among other things, activate/inactivate debug logging. It would be nice if one could edit (using Notepad) this file from the Windows Home Server Console.
